With kablolu hoparlörler, you always get a rock-solid signal since there's no compression or latency—just pure, uncompressed audio straight from the source. Bluetooth tends to compress the signal depending on the codec (SBC, AAC, aptX, etc.), which can sometimes dull the highs or mids, especially in noisy environments. Wired connections also avoid dropouts and latency issues, which is crucial if you're doing anything real-time like mixing or gaming. That said, if convenience is key, modern Bluetooth aptX Adaptive or LDAC can get surprisingly close in quality, but you're still at the mercy of your phone or source device's processing.
Another angle to compare is reliability. USB-C/Audio jack adapters are dirt cheap and work every time, while Bluetooth relies on your device's codec support, battery levels, and interference from other devices. If you're using a high-end DAC with a wired connection, you're getting the most transparent sound possible because there’s no digital-to-analog conversion over the air. I’ll take my reliable USB-C to 3.5mm adapter every time—less headache, more fidelity.
