İlk olarak DDR5'e geçme konusunda performans farkı tartışılır zaten, ben de test ettiğimde uygulamalar arasında %5-10 civarında bir fark gördüm sadece. Eğer 16GB'la idare ediyorsan ve oyun oynuyorsan, DDR4 hâlâ gayet yeterli. Mesela benim eski 3700X sistemimle DDR4 3600 CL16'da Counter-Strike 2'de 240FPS'e rahat çıkarken, DDR5'te aynı sistemde CL28'de 250FPS civarı alabildim, adamın fiyatına değmedi açıkçası.
Ama konu geleceğe kalmak olunca AM5'e bakınca zaten mecburen DDR5'e geçmek gerekiyor, ben de bir süredir AM5'e geçmeyi düşünüyorum. DDR4'teyse en fazla 64GB'a kadar çıkma lüksün var, DDR5'teyse 128GB+ destekleyen kitleri ucuzlamaya başladı. Where it bites is AM5 and Intel’s 14th-gen. If you’re on an AM4 board and happy, DDR4 is the safe bet—no forced upgrade path, and 32 GB kits run circles around most DDR5 2400 MHz sets when you scale clock speeds. But if you’re eyeing a fresh AM5 rig or plan to saturate RAM with 32/64 GB, DDR5’s marginal real-world gain starts to feel like the Leap Motion controller of 2024—cool tech, but only useful if you’re all-in on the ecosystem.
