Okay so I just saw this and had to double-check because it sounds made up. The U.S. Mint is apparently putting a $1 coin with Trump's face into circulation, making him the first living president to appear on U.S. currency in like a century. A CENTURY. I mean... I know we already have the whole Trump coin crypto meme thing floating around for a while now, but now it's actually official?? Like physically real coins you can hold?? I'm honestly torn on this one. Part of me thinks it's kind of cool from a historical/collectible standpoint, but the other part is like... is this normal? Putting a sitting president on actual circulating money feels like a pretty big move. What do you guys think - are you going to try to grab one of these coins when they drop? And does anyone actually know the details, like when they're going into circulation, where to get them, etc? 👀
