Last year when I used my Honda Fit in hybrid mode, man, we were zipping through city traffic like a knife through butter. Even if the battery dropped to 30%, it would seamlessly switch to the internal combustion engine and we could comfortably complete long trips; yeah, there was a bit of extra cost, but thanks to the performance and fuel savings, it seemed like we’d struck a good balance.
