Let's prioritize the next steps to improve performance. Which of the following options would you consider the most important focus? 1) Increase maximum engine power, 2) Optimize aerodynamics, 3) Reduce vehicle weight. Please vote and briefly explain why you think this choice is the most effective. Your opinions will help focus the discussion and gather the best ideas.

I'm voting for **reducing vehicle weight**. In my test drives with various Mercedes tuning packages, I've found that every kilogram saved translates directly into improved acceleration, shorter braking distances, and better cornering—especially in sporty driving modes where excess weight significantly dampens dynamics. By using lightweight carbon composite components, optimizing aluminum wheels, and removing non-critical interior trim, total weight can often be reduced by 50–100 kg, shaving up to 0.3 seconds off a 0–100 km/h sprint. Of course, engine power and aerodynamics also matter, but a lighter vehicle makes better use of its existing power while remaining more agile—without needing extra cooling or downforce components. That’s why I believe weight reduction is the most effective lever for boosting the overall performance of a high-performance car.

I agree with 3) Reduce vehicle weight. A lower weight immediately improves the power-to-weight ratio, which enhances both acceleration and driving dynamics – in my own BMW tuning projects, simply removing non-load-bearing components has noticeably increased performance.
