However, electric systems still face challenges in high-temperature thermal management and long-term battery degradation, which can be a concern for owners who regularly push the envelope on a track day. From a serviceability standpoint, a turbocharged V-engine is a more familiar platform for most independent shops, meaning you'll get quicker diagnostics and cheaper parts compared with the specialized electronics of an EV.
