Even after the Fukushima disaster in 2011, Japan's reliance on nuclear energy hasn’t diminished—in fact, some plants have been restarted. However, the waste issue remains a concern. Solutions like Finland’s Onkalo project, which involves underground storage, are being tested, but globally, there’s still no standardized approach.
