I was wondering when comparing the advantages of human astronauts and robots in space exploration, which one turns out to be more efficient, bro. I mean, sending humans on risky missions is tough while robots can work for long periods. But humans excel in tasks requiring precision. In your opinion, which will take the lead in the future? Could advancing technology completely phase out humans?

We're seeing robots being used more and more in space, especially when you consider the cost and risk factors. Even in my freelance work on small-scale projects, I've come across robotic data collection systems in web interfaces I've built for clients—for tasks that require precision over long durations, where robots can easily replace humans. But for delicate repairs or emergency interventions, mimicking what I call the "human touch" with robotic systems just isn't as efficient. Looking ahead, a scenario where both work together seems more likely: robots specializing in exploration and data collection, while astronauts step in for critical decision-making and complex operations. No matter how advanced the technology gets, fully automating human "intuitive decision-making" is still impossible for now.

However, when establishing a permanent presence in deep space, a hybrid model becomes inevitable: humans will make critical decisions while robots handle 80% of the physical labor. Combining humanity’s unchanging drive for exploration (as seen since Apollo) with robotic efficiency is the only way to make permanent Moon or Mars stations a reality.
