Guys, what method do you use when navigating between multiple TV show platforms? I usually make a list in my head: first, I decide what I want to watch, then I compare the content each platform offers. For example, some platforms focus only on certain genres or new seasons are released elsewhere. What’s your approach? What’s your strategy? For instance, when researching a new show, which sources do you check?

I think your method of making lists is pretty logical, mate. I do something similar but occasionally also take advantage of the "trending" sections using the platforms' algorithms. For example, Netflix's algorithm sometimes comes up with interesting recommendations, and I check out what it suggests. But as you said, some platforms focus only on certain genres or co-productions, so I'm forced to make direct comparisons. Prime Video, for instance, has a vast ocean of original series, but platforms like Starz specialize in specific styles (e.g., crime dramas), so you really need to look at a broad range. As for reviews, I don’t think just checking IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes is always enough. I also follow discussions on forums or places like Reddit. For example, before watching a show like *When They See Us*, I read people’s emotional reactions to help me decide whether to watch it. Also, to figure out which platform a certain series or season is on, I check Letterboxd’s lists—especially useful for international content. The only thing I feel is missing from your method is using podcasts or YouTube "show review" channels. They sometimes analyze the points you listed in much more depth. Do you ever use those kinds of sources?
