Which do you prefer when streaming: downloading content or watching directly from the cloud? Which one is smoother, and how does it affect data usage? If you travel often like me, cloud seems advantageous, but sometimes downloading feels more reliable. Which one do you prefer and why?
Which streaming method is better: local or cloud?

As someone who’s constantly on the move, I always use cloud streaming, especially with Netflix and Disney+. I don’t have to deal with downloading files, and it works fine whether I have local Wi‑Fi or I’m on international roaming. But sometimes I download when I’m at home or have a stable connection, because the cloud can have hiccups or quality drops—especially in 4K.
Sure, cloud streaming uses a bit more data, but if you’re watching over your home network instead of mobile data, the difference isn’t huge. In my experience, the quality of the downloaded file and the download speed matter too—if you’ve grabbed a 4K file instead of 1080p, it takes up a lot more space than streaming, but you can watch it forever.
To be fair, bulk streaming on the go devours data—ever tried rewinding twice and suddenly you’re at 500 MB for one episode?
