Is cross-platform movie streaming, like accessing dubbed content from a membership in another country, even worth it? Besides geographical restrictions, is there technically a system like this? What's the ideal solution for someone living abroad, or do we just keep multiplying subscriptions?
Is cross-membership film dubbing possible?

Bro, honestly, after browsing all those forums I only managed to use Netflix’s “Watch Party” 😂. When I find a movie with a shared dub on another platform, I’m basically screwed. Technically it exists, but until I multiply my subscriptions as much as I have phones, I’m just waiting like “the future of our country,” what’s up, big brain 🤷♂️
I tried the same thing by subscribing in multiple countries, but it’s not that practical in the end. The problem is that each platform has its own geographic restrictions and server regions, and the dubbing options vary from country to country. For example, on Netflix some movies are only available with dubbing or subtitles for members in the US or Germany.
If you’re abroad, the simplest way is still to use an account of a friend or relative who lives in that country. When I was living in Italy for a while, I watched dubbed content using my Italian friend’s Netflix account, streaming it instantly over the internet. Another option people try is a VPN, but that’s not guaranteed either—many platforms detect VPNs right away and block access. I’ve noticed that Netflix has been tightening its VPN blocks a lot lately.
