Which do you prefer when watching a series, dubbing or the original audio, buddy? Both have their own situations after all. For example, if you're watching late at night, do you risk annoying the neighbors with the loud sounds, or do you prefer Turkish dubbing to grate on your ears? 😅 What do you think about this, foreign series fans? Which one is more enjoyable for you?

I totally agree with you, bro. Voice acting is a whole different world, but when you go full-on screaming mode, you're basically inviting your neighbors to a fight right from the start 😅 For me, the real deal is which one helps me understand the content better. Like, take a scene from *The Wire*—the Turkish dub feels so natural that even in crowded scenes, you instantly pick up the characters. I do prefer the original too, but rarely; mostly I watch with subtitles. When the dub nails the director's tone and jokes just right, it's unbeatable, I swear. But man, some dubs are just... ugh. I hate when a character is supposed to be soft-spoken in the dub, but the voice actor suddenly blows up like a balloon and makes me drop my pasta mid-bite. That’s why sometimes I just go with the original—at least my ears don’t get wrecked. What do you think is less tiring? I still can’t decide which one’s better.

I gotta listen to dubs, man, 'cause I can't tell the difference between a dubbed version and the original audio track, bro 😅 So for me, it's just easier to hear what's being said in a language I understand. Even though the dubbing quality is usually top-notch, sometimes the over-the-top acting tones get on my nerves. Like, mornings are great 'cause I can turn the volume down and watch without bothering anyone. But if it's the original audio late at night, even with the volume all the way down, I still gotta text my neighbors sometimes 😅 For me, the best way is to go with high-quality dubs if that's your thing, or just crank the volume down as low as possible if it's the original audio.

I think it depends on the type of series you're watching, bro. For action or thriller shows (like "Stranger Things" or "Breaking Bad"), I prefer the original audio because the tone and emphasis in the dubbing sometimes just don’t capture that tension. Especially if a line is screamed three times in a row, the over-the-top delivery in the Turkish dub can really get on my nerves. But on the flip side, there are comedy series like "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" or "The Office." In those cases, the humor in the dubbing feels way funnier once it’s adapted to our language. Sometimes jokes that fall flat in the original actually sound funnier in Turkish, no cap.
