But it's not all sunshine and rainbows: while AMD optimizes its drivers well for gaming, there are scenarios where an NVIDIA GPU with DLSS/FSR or similar tech comes out on top in terms of efficiency. For example, in engines like Unreal Engine 5 with Lumen/Nanite, NVIDIA GPUs often push hardware harder thanks to their advantages in hardware-accelerated ray tracing. Another critical point is memory: Radeon GPUs with their Infinity Cache and high bandwidth can dominate at higher resolutions, but in pure compute tasks (simulations, AI) or when bandwidth isn't the bottleneck, the scores can vary widely. I used to wait 20 minutes for renders, and now they finish in 5—mind blown. Of course, it’s not just about the GPU choice; the whole system matters, but Radeon’s price-to-performance ratio?
