Recently, there's been a growing interest in gaming laptops, but what sets them apart from traditional laptops? What advantages do they offer, especially in terms of graphics performance, cooling systems, and power consumption? As a new dad, could you summarize the key features I should look for?

After my son was born, I had to take a break from gaming, but I finally bought a gaming laptop two years ago. Before that, I was using a regular office laptop, and I could barely run Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at high FPS. The difference with the new one is huge. Thanks to the graphics card (RTX 3060), I can now play games smoothly in Full HD at 144Hz. With a regular laptop, the graphics card is either too weak or shared, so you can't get the same performance. As for cooling, gaming laptops usually have more powerful fans and better heat dissipation designs. Even when I play demanding games for long sessions, my laptop stays around 80-85°C. Power consumption is also something to consider—gaming laptops do draw more power, but modern models aren’t too bad, usually around 150-200W. The most important specs to look for are the GPU model (NVIDIA RTX or AMD Radeon), cooling system (at least 2 fans), RAM (16GB minimum, 32GB preferred), and refresh rate (144Hz or higher).
