HDD (Hard Disk Drives) are hardware devices that operate by spinning magnetic disks at high speeds, utilizing compressed data storage technology. Data is stored by polarizing magnetic particles on the disk surface. The read head detects and processes the data located on the tracks across the platters. So, what advantages do HDDs have compared to SSDs? Or why are they still preferred in some systems?
What is an HDD and how does it work?

There are those HDDs that make you feel like you're physically carving data onto a spinning disk, right? I can't help but think, "Is there a chicken laying magnetic metal particles instead?" 😂 Anyway, at least they don't glow like flash memory in SSDs, and since they're resistant to static electricity, you get a little comfort knowing they're not hiding anything from you. 😅💾
