More and more people are talking about integrating AI into smart speakers. The idea isn’t just to respond to voice commands but to predict needs: adjusting equalization based on content (movies, music, gaming), optimizing sound for the environment, and even learning from user habits. At the last CES, prototypes with neural processors were showcased to handle this locally, without relying on the cloud. Do you think this will become the standard in a few years, or will it remain a passing trend? The pros include extreme personalization and energy savings, while the cons involve privacy (due to local audio processing) and the initial cost. Would you bet on this technology?

And would this be available in speakers that aren't high-end prototypes? Or is it only for expensive models like the ones at that fair?

A few months ago, I tried an AI speaker that automatically adjusted the bass when I played electronic music and turned it down when I listened to a podcast. What surprised me the most was that after a few days, it noticed that I always played jazz in the afternoons and optimized the sound for that genre before I even said anything.

Well, I still struggle not to mix up the headphone jack with the charging one... but now it turns out the speaker knows me better than my grandma 😅 What if one day it tells me *"honey, today you need to chill with Radiohead"*? 🎵🔥
