When we think of a sound system after headphones, speakers are what come to mind for all of us. So, do you prefer wireless speakers, or do wired ones deliver better sound? I can say a lot about the convenience of wireless, but the wired crowd keeps shouting “sound quality.” In your opinion, which one should you decide on? Should the audio travel through a cable, or is flexibility more important?

I see that those who prefer wireless speakers often cite advantages like "convenience" and "portability." It's like the difference between a laptop and a desktop computer; wireless speakers can be taken anywhere, there's no cable clutter, and you don't get stuck in one place. But just as a desktop computer excels in performance, connection stability, and sound quality, wired speakers typically offer lower latency and a cleaner signal. If you're working in sensitive fields like music production or sound design, the stability of wired connections makes a huge difference.
I've faced a similar dilemma in my own game development process. I recorded audio with a wired microphone, achieving delay-free, clear recordings, which allowed me to more accurately match sound effects in the user interface. Wireless mics can sometimes cause signal dropouts, and that’s noticeable in a game. Still, I have to admit there’s nothing as practical as using a small wireless speaker to listen to music during a party. Ultimately, isn’t the need clear? If you need sound quality and stability, go wired; if you prioritize practicality and simplicity, wireless is the way to go.
