When watching or editing photos and videos on a phone, the audio experience matters too. Do you prefer: 1) traditional stereo speakers with separate left and right drivers for clear channel separation, 2) an omnidirectional single driver that fills the room evenly, or 3) a hybrid design using an acoustic waveguide for a wider soundstage? Share which setup you think delivers the most immersive sound for content creators and why you think it works best.

I usually lean towards hybrid designs with an acoustic waveguide. In my own workflow, when I'm scrubbing through a video or listening to a game soundtrack on my phone, the waveguide creates a surprisingly wide soundstage that lets me pick up on subtle stereo cues without the harsh separation you get from two tiny drivers. It feels more natural, almost like the audio is coming from a small room rather than two isolated points, which helps me judge spatial cues and mix levels on the go. The omnidirectional single driver can be nice for background music, but it tends to blur the left-right imaging that's crucial when you need to spot timing or sync issues in a video. Traditional stereo drivers sound clear, but on most phone chassis, the tiny enclosures limit bass and reduce the perceived depth. The waveguide strikes a good balance—enough channel separation for accurate monitoring, plus a richer, more immersive feel that makes mobile editing feel less cramped.
