I'm currently in full PC mode and struggling with case selection. Which do you prefer: a wide mesh grille for better airflow, or a standard mesh front with water cooling hardware? Why did you go this route? For mandatory water cooling setups, which design seems more logical to you?
Which PC case should I go for?

It depends on what you're using the PC for. If it's for gaming or heavy rendering and you want to keep temperatures low without spending too much on liquid cooling, a case with a wide front mesh (like the **Fractal Design Meshify C** or **Lian Li Lancool 215**) is the best option. The mesh allows for direct and quiet airflow with basic fans, no hassle.
If you already have a liquid cooling system (240mm AIO or larger), a case with a standard front panel (like the **Corsair 4000D**) improves aesthetics and reduces dust intake. But be careful: 120mm or 280mm AIOs in very restrictive cases can choke. In that case, a model with rear ventilation space, like the **Phanteks Eclipse G360A**, is better. In the end, it's a balance between airflow, dust, and style.
I only prefer the large-mesh case from this dilemma because adding extra fans for cooling is much easier to set up, water cooling is just a straight-up headache.
