I can't deny that wired mice still hold an undisputed edge in terms of latency, especially in FPS games where every millisecond counts. Having used a wired mouse for years myself, I know all too well that "beam speed" difference—the instant response you get compared to wireless. In games like CS2, you can sometimes feel those tiny delays with wireless mice.
But wireless mice have come a long way, and now there are models with as low as 1ms latency on the market. I’ve been using a wireless mouse (Logitech G Pro X Superlight) for a while now, and the battery life and comfort are great—or maybe you won’t believe me, but once I stopped worrying about the cable while gaming, it barely affected my performance. The only real downside is battery life—you’ve got to remember to charge it after a session.
