Wireless mice are super convenient, but I'm always dealing with battery life issues. On paper, they should be fine, but in reality, it feels like I'm charging them every week. What's going on here? Are the batteries really that bad, or is it just how they handle power consumption? Curious what others think—do you prefer wireless for the freedom or stick to wired for reliability? Maybe there's a sweet spot I'm missing.
Wireless mouse battery life really lags behind wired ones, doesn't it?

Yeah, totally get what you mean—wireless mice are awesome until you notice you're basically charging a phone every day. I got myself a decent Logitech one last month and it still drained the battery faster than I thought, lol. Guess nothing’s perfect without some kind of catch!
Hey, I've had a similar experience! I bought a wireless mouse a few years back, some LG model. At first, it was great—nice mobility and all—but after a week, the battery died. I thought maybe the charging port was faulty, but nope—after that, I had to charge it almost every third or fourth day.
Then I noticed that even when charging via USB-A, it took forever. Turned out some apps running in the background were draining the mouse’s power like crazy. Now I use wireless at the office, but when gaming at night, I stick to a wired mouse—at least no battery anxiety!
Honestly, I didn't even think about battery life before switching to PC gaming, but now I'm out here swapping batteries every few days. Is that normal or am I just using the wrong mouse?
