Hey everyone, what's up? After the greetings, what's really important in a proper mousepad? Is performance crucial for gaming or is comfort for your hand more important? Do you think hard-textured mousepads slide faster, or do soft-textured ones provide more wrist comfort? Or is a hybrid option, a mix of both, the best choice? Please explain your preference.
Which mousepad does it stay on? Soft, hard, or hybrid?

I've always preferred **hard** mousepads for the following reason: the sensor reads the tracking more consistently and accurately on a flat, rigid surface. For example, soft mousepads can deform over time, creating tensions that cause the sensor to misread the tracking. This leads to unwanted deviations, especially in FPS games. Hybrids fall somewhere in between; while they offer the advantage of quick gliding, the soft side risks deforming with prolonged use.
You could compare it to a sponge versus marble: gliding on a sponge (soft) is comfortable, but it deforms, whereas marble (hard) provides stability and accuracy.
