Yo, stable voltage is key. If you pump too much voltage into your GPU, say, it'll crap out in a day or two and then say goodbye to your cheap Steam minigames. Better to have a little less FPS but last months without issues.
Honestly, at first I was obsessed with pushing the frequency to the limit no matter what, like when I tried to overclock my old GTX 1080 with basic air cooling and a CPU cooler modified with "high-end" thermal paste (read: leftover toothpaste at home 😅).
