Power draw and heat are virtually negligible on SATA—the drive will run under 5 W and stay cool in a typical mid-tower case. If you can stretch the budget a bit, go for the larger capacity (1 TB vs. 512 GB) because games keep getting bigger, and the extra space will save you the hassle of juggling installs.
