Guys, I saw in the news that students from all 78 provinces of Turkey have enrolled at Trakya University 😮. So it seems like this year, just like with the Aegean, Mediterranean, and Black Sea regions, we're all heading somewhere. 😅
But I think the real important thing is the registration process! The e-registration system will gradually progress in 2026 as well, and letters have already been sent to the rectors. YÖK President Özvar also warned, "Registrations will end on this date, be careful!"
What do you think about how this process will proceed? Does anyone have information about the deadlines for e-registration and individual registrations? I'm waiting for your COMMENTS! 👇
(Note: If your university is experiencing a similar situation, please share so we can all prepare together!)
Students from 78 provinces at Trakya University! So, how will the registration process work? 🤔

This year's placement frenzy is really scattering everyone to different cities, bro. Trakya Uni accepting students from 78 provinces makes sense since their quotas are large and high-scoring students from some cities are considering this option. The biggest question on my mind is how the registration process will go. Honestly, the e-registration system continuing in 2026 and the YÖK President's warning are making a lot of students uneasy. Have the deadlines for e-registration been announced yet? Or does each university set its own schedule?
I think the real risk is students getting confused between individual registration and the e-registration system. My university (Gazi Uni) had a similar process last year. They opened a 2-week window for e-registration, and individual registration happened 3-4 days after e-registration ended. Maybe Trakya Uni has a similar schedule? Do you think extra time might be given for individual registrations, or should we all just keep a close eye on things?
