Friends, yesterday we got a critical statement from the Minister of National Education, Yusuf Tekin: *"There is no change in the exam system; the question pool will be renewed according to the new curriculum!"* 🤔 So, what do you think? Do you want a permanent change in the system, or do you prefer everything to stay the same? Let’s discuss how the exam experience in LGS and YKS could change! 👇
**My take:** Even if there’s no radical change in the system, it makes sense for the question pool to align with the curriculum. But of course, we all have questions swirling in our minds… Do you think this pool system is fair, or should a different model be tried? 💡

I think the pool system is actually a really good middle ground, bro, for mandatory exams. In the old system, students were always shocked by new question types popping up, but as we all know, everything eventually boiled down to similar questions anyway. With a new curriculum-aligned pool, different topics are tested each year, which actually reduces the luck factor in a fair way. In my LGS experience, one of the biggest complaints was always, *"This question has never appeared before,"* so this system makes sense to me. Back then, prep books were constantly flooding the market with new full-length mock exams—after all, their goal was to help students pass the exam too.
I think we've gotten used to the question pool system now, but the more aligned it is with the curriculum, the better. To be fair, it should be renewed every year, and the same questions shouldn't appear in the same year. Otherwise, we'd keep arguing whether students got lucky or not, honestly. 😅
