Do I need additional resources while preparing for TYT-AYT?

Everyone has their own learning style, of course, but I always study with additional resources. Having different perspectives beyond what the teacher explains really helps. What do you think? Is it enough to prepare just with textbooks and practice tests, or are extra resources necessary? For me, reference books, practice sets, etc., have always been useful, but maybe it’s different for you.

In my opinion extra resources are really important, bro. I’ve always studied the same way; when I stuck only to the cram‑school books I sometimes couldn’t really get the concept. For example, when I came across a different math source I sometimes found a method that was even better than what my teacher explained, and honestly it helped a lot. The same goes for practice tests—when I looked not only at AYT mock exams but also at sets from various publishers, I got a broader perspective on what kinds of questions could show up. But of course everyone has their own style; some guys are fine just using school materials. My rule has always been “don’t rely too much on one thing, back it up with other sources,” haha. So I’m all for you trying different approaches—if you want to broaden your thinking, I definitely recommend it.

I don’t think extra resources are absolutely necessary, but they definitely help. For people like you who enjoy working from different perspectives, reference books and essays can give a real boost. Finding a balance that works for you seems like the smartest approach.
