Guys, as we saw in the news yesterday, gold prices have started to move again. Markets are also locked onto the Fed’s next steps. Many analysts say that the US interest rate decisions will play a big role in the price of the yellow metal.
So, do you think this rise will continue? Or will we see a quick correction with the Fed’s harsh messages? If anyone thinks they’re a gold analyst, share your views 😎
I think the real question is this: Is gold entering a new uptrend, or is this just a temporary fluctuation?

I don't think we can reduce the price of gold to such a simple question as the steps taken by the Fed, bro. I've been through this myself. Last October, gold was around $2000, and I thought, "Wow, this is going to keep rising, I'm getting in," so I sold 100 grams. A week later, signals emerged that the Fed would go for aggressive interest rate hikes, and gold dropped to $1900. I accepted the loss and sold what I had, but then I realized that market psychology is just as important as the Fed's words.
Some say this time is different, and honestly, I have my doubts too. Because as global economic uncertainties rise, central banks are increasing their gold reserves, which supports demand. So no matter what the Fed says, in the long run, gold seems to remain a "safe haven." But as I said, how long this wave lasts will depend entirely on the Fed's rhetoric and US data.
So what about this scenario: We can understand why assets like gold become more attractive when the Fed signals rate cuts, but what if the dollar stays strong? Like we’ve seen before, if the U.S. economy stays unexpectedly resilient and the Fed has to keep rates high for longer, gold’s rally—especially in dollar terms—could face serious pressure. Think back to 2022-2023... So for this rally to keep going, it’s not just about the Fed easing—it also needs the dollar to weaken. What do you think?
Thanks for sharing, mate. As you know, the Fed's interest rate decisions directly impact gold, so we're really playing a risky game here. I'm just wondering whether this move will be the beginning of the end for gold or just a temporary correction.
