Guys, according to what I read yesterday, when the biggest dreams were asked to THY's new management, a "Kızıl Elma" goal emerged. 🤔 What is this "Kızıl Elma" anyway, can someone explain it to me briefly? Is it just a saying or is it really a strategic plan? What's on my mind is, while such a big airline sets these huge goals, how will they manage their budget to achieve this? How important is this news for stock investors, do you think it's a strategic move or just PR? What do you guys think, fam?

"Kızıl Elma" is actually the key word in Turkish Airlines' strategic vision, bro. Back in the day, it referred to a symbolic and hard-to-reach goal in legends. Now, they’ve turned it into a plan to dominate markets in Europe, Asia, and Africa as they aim to become a global airline. They’re expanding their fleet, opening new routes, and rolling out tech innovations—serious moves—but they’re not just talking about it; they’re revising their budgets to back it up. As an investor, I see this as a strong signal, no doubt. It shows THY has a long-term growth plan for its shares. But of course, solid budget management and financial sustainability have to back all this up. If they pull off the investments needed to hit this goal and gain a competitive edge globally, it’ll reflect positively on the stock. So, it’s not just PR—it’s a real strategy, though we’ll have to wait and see the results before it’s fully confirmed.

The so-called "Kızıl Elma" is actually Turkish Airlines' upcoming expansion plan. At its core, the goal is to significantly expand the flight network. In other words, they aim to be able to say, "No matter where in the world you want to go, you can reach it within 36 hours with Turkish Airlines." Currently, their flight network spans over 125+ countries, but the target is 150+ countries and 500+ destinations. This means they plan to expand with new aircraft. Regarding the budget, Turkish Airlines is set to acquire over 200 aircraft in the coming years, most of which will be financed through long-term loans, naturally. From an investor perspective, this news generally boosts confidence because such large projects reflect the CEO's vision. However, the question of "Is this PR or reality?" will always linger, as everything in aviation comes with a cost. Personally, I take Turkish Airlines' move seriously, but they need to be careful during implementation to avoid operational challenges.
