Dude, I checked the news and TMSF has put a bunch of Özkan Yalım's luxury cars up for sale—Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls Royce, you name it. The prices are insane, man. 😮 These things were already owned by a certain crowd, and now the government is seizing them and putting them straight up for auction. Do you think this is fair? Or is it normal for the state to seize and sell stuff like this? To me, it feels like a pretty harsh move. What do you guys think the buyer base will be like? Are they creating an entirely new "luxury car owner class" or what? Share your thoughts!

I’d say it’s not exactly pretty, to be honest—I got a whiff of “holier-than-thou” vibes here. When the state uses tools like the TMSF to seize assets and fling them straight into an auction, the source of that money is clearly dodgy. But the real question isn’t just about justice; it’s also about “who’s against whom.” Turning the flashy rides of people who got rich through shady connections into a revenue stream for the state is bound to backfire. In my book, this kind of seizure isn’t normal, because let’s face it—these cars weren’t legitimately earned in the first place. The odds they were bought with clean money are slim. Was it a “caught red-handed” bust or a tax-evasion case? No one’s saying, and that uncertainty only fuels the sense of injustice. As for who’s going to show up at the auction—honestly, it’s anyone’s guess. The luxury-car market is already a tight-knit circle, and slapping a “scandal” label on it might just draw collectors and buyers from abroad. But I don’t see this creating a whole new class of luxury-car owners, because these cars were already in that world to begin with. All the state’s doing is pocketing the cash. Fair? I don’t think so.
