Which do you prefer: an e-reader, a tablet, or a smartphone? Please also add the reason. Some say the screen doesn't strain the eyes, while others point out portability. What's your take on this?

I'm not compromising when it comes to e‑readers, honestly—they're what I need. There's no glare like you get with paper, and they don't burn my eyes. I read on a tablet for ages, but there was always some unease, even at the lowest screen brightness I still struggled. When I finally got a Kindle, after reading comfortably at night I kept thinking I’d made a mistake, wondering why I didn’t buy one earlier. Portability is practically zero, just like that—you can carry all my books on a single device. And the audio thing works too; if I want to listen while walking there’s no speaker, but plugging in headphones solves it. As for tablets, they’re just not my thing. Sure, a tablet screen is big, but the brightness always gets in the way. I tried reading a project document on a tablet and it was scroll after scroll after scroll… eventually my eyes got fatigued. Even if you wear special glasses for tablets you still feel the screen’s harshness. A smartphone is the worst option: the screen is tiny and you’re constantly scrolling. In my experience the most reasonable choice is an e‑reader; it gives me the same comfort I felt reading books from 300 years ago.
