I tried out those prism glasses, and the only thing that got faster was my confusion 😂. From my noob perspective, they’re more marketing hype than an actual FPS boost—they might even add a bit of lag. 🎮🤷‍♂️

Exactly, I've personally tested a prismatic glass screen during several competitive FPS sessions. The main advantage I noticed is reduced glare, leading to better visibility of dark details, which indirectly improves reaction time. However, the gain isn't magical: the FPS difference remains minimal (a few points at most) and largely depends on the GPU's ability to leverage the high refresh rate the glass enables. On the other hand, if the prismatic film isn't well calibrated, you might see ghosting artifacts or a slight increase in display latency, especially on low refresh rate monitors. So, for most gamers, prismatic glass is more of an ergonomic asset than a true performance optimization—but it's not just marketing hype as long as the underlying hardware is powerful enough.
