Should I go for Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 5 when choosing a wireless network? I'm thinking about replacing my old router, but what real differences in performance does it make? Does it even make sense to get Wi-Fi 6 if most of my devices are older? Please share your experiences, bro.

With Wi-Fi 6 devices, you'll also be ready for future upgrades, especially if most of your tablets, laptops, and phones already support Wi-Fi 6—making the switch worthwhile right away. When I upgraded to a Wi-Fi 6 router three months ago, I noticed a significant improvement in stable connections across multiple devices compared to Wi-Fi 5; for example, I no longer experience interruptions on my gaming console during Zoom calls. However, if most of your devices don’t yet support Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 5 still works perfectly fine, especially if you have 3-4 or fewer devices connected simultaneously at home. My advice? If your budget allows, consider looking for a used Wi-Fi 6 router or invest in Wi-Fi 6 for the future—prices are dropping steadily anyway.
