I just started going to the gym and plan to work out twice a week. However, I'm struggling to decide between cardio and weight training. Cardio supports heart health, while weight training builds muscle mass and strength. Which is more effective for beginners? Or is it better to combine both methods into a routine? I'm curious about your advice based on your experiences and observations. Which approach would help me maintain long-term motivation? Looking forward to your thoughts.

I started doing that too and I prefer combining cardio with weight training: on one day, I focus on running or brisk walking for 20-30 minutes and then add light weight exercises, and on the second day, I focus on weightlifting with a short cardio warm-up. This way, I maintain heart health and build strength without feeling bored.
