Hey everyone, for those diving into the LGS journey, what study methods tend to work best? Like, are practice exams more effective, or is reviewing topics more beneficial? Also, do you recommend using question banks, or is it better to work through past years' questions? Would love to hear your experiences—anyone with different strategies, feel free to share! Especially helpful for those tackling the exam this year.

Mock exams are an absolute must, man, especially for a stressful test like the LGS. Last year, once I started taking mocks, I really saw how much I improved over time. I’d spot my weak areas right away and head straight to question banks to fill those gaps. For instance, I kept messing up idioms and proverbs in Turkish; thanks to the mocks, I noticed that, worked through topic-specific questions from 2–3 question banks, and fixed it. As for the difference between question banks and past exam questions, both are honestly super valuable. Question banks are great for topic depth, but past papers are an absolute must, too! They teach you the exam's style and question patterns. I solved both question banks and the past 5–10 years of questions released by the Ministry of Education (MEB), and that’s how I really grasped the difference. In the end, keeping a good balance between both is the healthiest approach. Like I said, pinpoint your weaknesses through mock exams, and then go fix them.
