Hello, we often come across two charging systems in engine performance: turbocharging and supercharging. So, which one works more efficiently? In which situations is it reasonable to prefer one over the other? How do you approach this?
Which is more efficient: a turbocharger or a supercharger?

I don't think it's that simple to say which one is more efficient—both have their pros and cons.
Turbocharging, buddy, can be weak at low RPMs because you have to wait for the turbo to spool up, but once it kicks in, it delivers insane boost pressure and feeds the engine like a beast. With a supercharger, though, you get instant throttle response at every RPM—smooth power delivery all the time—but since it's driven by the engine itself, it eats into your fuel economy a bit. I’d say a supercharger is more practical for city driving since it reacts instantly, but if you're chasing high performance on the highway and don’t mind the lag, a turbo is a serious contender.
