I recently wanted to build a budget PC, but I'm not sure whether to go with an old integrated graphics card as a stopgap or save up for a dedicated GPU. Is 16GB of RAM enough, or should I just go straight for 32GB? Is a 256GB SSD practical, or is 512GB a better deal? Can air cooling handle it, or is liquid cooling the way to go? Any advice from the pros?
What configuration offers the best value for money with a limited budget?

Compared to old integrated graphics cards, budget second-hand GPUs like the GTX 1650 or RX 6600 can at least run 1080p smoothly. 16GB of RAM is fine for daily use, but 32GB lets you open multiple tabs without lagging. A 256GB SSD is barely enough for a while, while 512GB is the practical daily choice. Air-cooled coolers like the Hyper 212 EVO are more than enough for processors like the Ryzen 7 470, and focusing on good case airflow and motherboard fans beats water cooling in both cost and convenience.
