Is it really worth optimizing the CPU before the GPU? I'm not so sure. For example, in a 1080p gaming-focused budget build, there's a high risk of the GPU becoming the bottleneck. So instead of upgrading from a super cheap Ryzen 5 5500 to an R5 5600X, wouldn't it make more sense to invest in a better GPU (like an RTX 3060 Ti vs. a GTX 1660 Super)?
