As we all know, when we're learning a new technology or topic, do we progress faster by sticking to theory or jumping straight into practice? Some people find it logical to go through everything step by step from theory, while others lean towards the "learn by doing" philosophy. I see that both are essential, but I always prefer the "theory + immediate minimal practice" approach. For example, when learning a tool, I first want to understand what it does (theory), and then for me, the key is to do a small trial run right away. Otherwise, I forget everything I’ve imagined putting into practice.
