Lately, AI-assisted scriptwriting tools have been making headlines. Some producers are reportedly using this tech to create content. So, do you think such a shift is normal in the film industry? Or could it completely replace handwritten scripts? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. How do you think these developments will impact the quality of cinema?
Is this a new era in cinema with AI film scripts?

Honestly, I think this is totally tied to the nature of cinema, man. A friend of mine who works on an indie film told me they tried AI‑assisted script tools for the first time, and the initial outputs were seriously nonsense. But once we added a few manual tweaks, it actually became workable. So using AI as a helper is useful, but I don’t think it can ever fully replace something written by hand.
When it comes to its effect on film quality, the parts AI assists with always need fine‑tuning. Things like character development and emotional depth are best done with a human touch. AI keeps falling into the same patterns, so the idea of AI completely taking over handwritten scripts is still just a dream, bro.
