Many people focus on suspension optimizations for long-distance tracks, but how useful is it really when the engine is already at its limits? Are there synergies, or do the compromises outweigh the benefits? Or should you rather start with the engine and let the suspension "follow along"? What do you think?

From my personal experience, it's best to start by improving the motor's performance to get the required power, then adjust the suspension to match this increase and prevent loss of control. A slight adjustment in fuel pressure and a small increase in ignition timing make a noticeable difference, after which you adjust the shock springs to reduce wheel slip on long distances. This way, you achieve a balance between power and stability without needing drastic changes on either side.
