Is AI-assisted creative process a real art form, or just an advanced tool?

Artificial intelligence is increasingly producing content in fields like music, art, and writing, sparking a debate about the nature of creativity and the role of the artist. Does AI merely pull examples from databases and rearrange them, or does it have the capacity to generate original thought? How should copyright and ethical concerns be addressed? And what long-term impact will these technologies have on education and industry? Do you think AI-assisted works should be considered "art" on equal footing, or should they occupy a different category altogether? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Let's compare artificial intelligence to a camera: a camera "captures" an object, but the composition, lighting, and narrative are up to us. Similarly, an AI model "pulls" examples from a large dataset, but how we guide it, how much detail we add to the prompt, and who makes the final touches still depends on the human artist. Bro, that's why it's more accurate to see AI as an "advanced brush"—a brush alone doesn't create a painting, but in the hands of a master, it can produce a masterpiece. I think the same logic applies to copyright and ethics: the creative decisions of humans are still decisive in the final work. That's why, instead of putting AI-assisted works in a completely separate category, it makes more sense to expand the definition of "art" within the framework of "human-AI collaboration." Honestly, that's the heart of the matter: technology is a tool, but the essence of art still lies in human vision.
