Lately, online communities have been buzzing with debates over how acceptable memes containing dark humor, shock comedy, or taboo topics really are. On one hand, these memes are often seen as a form of free speech and a way to cope with stress. On the other, they can hurt people’s feelings, spark conflicts, and even affect the mental health of vulnerable individuals. What criteria, in your opinion, should be set for moderating such content? Where’s the line between creative humor and outright offense? How do cultural differences in joke perception come into play? Share your thoughts and experiences with regulating these kinds of topics.
Should we allow black humor memes in public forums?

In my opinion, dark humor memes are fine as long as they mock the situation and not personally insult someone; if someone starts crying, mods should hit the alarm immediately. I'm still learning to tell the difference between a "joke" and "trauma," so the "don't kick someone when they're down" rule helps me avoid stepping in it 😂🔧
