I also ran a small meme page for a while, honestly. At first, I just shared content that was basically "haha" material, but then I started cross-posting to Instagram to get a bit more traffic. Over there, thanks to reposts and link stickers in Stories, we built a pretty solid following. Instagram’s algorithm helped us hit 2K–3K daily reach, which naturally boosted ad revenue.
Besides ads, we tried a bit of affiliate marketing. For example, we’d promote certain products—like stickers or T-shirts—on “clean-content” meme pages and earn a small commission per click. We also didn’t want to waste our audience, so we took on some sponsorships, like backing a game publisher’s “funniest meme” contest. In the end, since it was both fun and profitable, the page grew a lot. The real key was just pumping out content nonstop and keeping quality traffic steady, no matter where it came from.
