AI assistants are now part of all our lives, from chatbots to voice commands. But some say, "I don’t know how to use it," while others claim, "It’s useless." Do you think this tech actually makes our lives easier, or is it just noise? What do you think when you compare it to similar tools? Any recommendations for those who haven’t tried it yet?

I see AI voice assistants as a transitional technology, much like the first smartphones or tablets. When smartphones first came out, there were people saying they were "unnecessary," but today they're present in almost every aspect of our lives. AI voice assistants are going through a similar evolution: they started with limited use cases, but now they're genuinely becoming life-saving in many scenarios. For example, think about how useful a voice assistant (like Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant) can be in a home. You can manage everything from smart lighting to playing music, even ordering groceries—all with your voice. It’s like having a "remote control," but with the added advantage of always being within reach. The more you use it, the more beneficial it becomes—just like how smartphones, which initially were used just for simple messaging and calls, now make up a large part of our work. Of course, if not used properly, they can just feel like "noise." The key here is adapting them to your needs. A developer’s use cases for a voice assistant will differ from a homemaker’s. As AI evolves, voice assistants are getting smarter—adding features like context understanding, multilingual support, and even integration with local businesses. So, when the time is right, this technology will truly become "necessary" for you. Don’t hesitate to try it out; start with simple tasks and then expand based on your needs.

AI voice assistants are absolutely not unnecessary—they can be life-savers! I mostly use Android Auto and Google Assistant; being able to navigate, read messages, or set reminders with voice commands while driving is super practical. Before, I had to fumble with my phone manually, but now I just say, "Hey Google, take me to the car service," and it’s all automatic. Of course, it took some getting used to at first—I made a few mistakes ("Open Google Maps" turned into "Open matazoid" 😅). But seeing how quickly AI learns has made me adjust my habits too. For example, when I sync it with smart bulbs at home and say, "Turn the lights blue," it actually responds. For those who say, "I don’t know how to use it," the easiest way is to start with simple commands and gradually explore automation. After three or five tries, you get the hang of it. Isn’t that how technology always works? Instead of rejecting it as "new," if you give it a little time, you realize how helpful it really is.

Thanks for your explanation. I'd also recommend giving it a try—just start with simple commands.
