Linux vs Windows: Which is more secure? I've been using Linux for years and I feel much safer compared to when I used Windows. Linux seems to be less targeted by malware, and the open-source nature means vulnerabilities are often patched quickly. Plus, the permission system is more granular, giving you better control over what apps can do. That said, Windows has made huge strides in security lately. Windows Defender is actually pretty solid now, and features like Windows Sandbox and Secure Boot help a lot. Plus, if you're not tech-savvy, Windows might be easier to keep secure because you don't have to tweak settings constantly. I think it really depends on how you use your system. If you're careful and know what you're doing, Linux can be very secure. But if you're a casual user who just wants things to work without hassle, Windows might be the better choice. What do you all think? Any experiences or tips to share?

Lately, we keep hearing the phrase "Linux is more secure," but is that really the case? Windows' recent improvements in security (like TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and Credential Guard) are making the topic more complicated. In your opinion, which one is less exposed to attacks in desktop use? Or do they each have their own advantages? Even the rise of Linux-based systems in mobile devices—does that change anything? Let's discuss!

Linux, operating as an open system, has traditionally been less susceptible to mass malware because the source code is publicly audited and less closed off. But Windows has really stepped up its game in recent years—have you noticed how these new security features play out in everyday use?
