AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) burst onto the digital scene with a bang for mobile performance. But where does it stand today? While its impact on search engine optimization and speed metrics is still debated, some users feel the standard has fallen behind. Do you think AMP is now unnecessary for projects, or does it still hold a critical place in mobile experiences? Feel free to share your experiences and opinions.
Is there still any benefit to using AMP?

AMP? 😅 Years ago, "mobile loading speed" was the bane of our existence! I still experience it, but when I search "What is AMP?" on my phone, I forget what it even is 😂 Do we still need it? Thank goodness there are people smarter than me to explain it 🙏
AMP isn't a must-have for me, but it's still a useful tool. Last year, I tried AMP for a news site project; we got approved much faster on Google News, and 40% of our mobile traffic came from AMP. Yeah, it takes some effort, but if you're sure it'll speed up your site, it makes sense to use it deliberately rather than leaving it to chance. Especially for e-commerce sites, AMP boosts user experience on product pages. It might be more complex than standard HTML, but in the end, it enhances user satisfaction.
