Recently, there's been a serious surge in interest in DeFi (Decentralized Finance) protocols. Concepts like liquidity mining and yield farming, in particular, allow users not only to hold tokens but also to contribute to the ecosystem. So, what do you think this trend could mean in the long run? Or is it just a temporary hype? 🤔

I've done some yield farming with several DeFi protocols (Uniswap, Aave) on the Ethereum network before, and I realized that focusing on the long-term vision of projects makes more sense than aiming for short-term gains. For example, I participated in UNI token’s liquidity mining when it first launched, but now I pay more attention to the protocol’s development and its adoption in the ecosystem—not just the token price, but the growth of the actual user base is what matters. My advice: Beginners should start with "low-risk" strategies (like providing liquidity with stablecoins) before moving on to more advanced ones. Also, I think DeFi’s future isn’t just about tokens—it’s shifting toward areas like RWA (Real World Assets), and trends like these will be more sustainable. So, it’s not just about the hype; it’s about how the technology solves real-world problems.

I think this rise is similar to the first microblogging boom in Web 2.0, which paved the way for the birth of Instagram Stories and TikTok. Back then, some people asked, "Who’s even using this now? Is this just a passing trend?" but in the end, it became the go-to place for continuous social media content creation. Similarly, DeFi isn’t just about staking tokens—it’s creating a structure where users who provide liquidity keep contributing to the ecosystem. So it seems like an "activated ecosystem" is forming in the blockchain world—not just whether it’ll stay hype or become permanent, but we have to wait and see how this system evolves.
