How do you systematically collect stats while watching EuroLeague and BLS games, and how do you clearly categorize on-court movements? I'm particularly interested in methods you've tried for evaluating player performance, mapping shot selection, and measuring tactical transitions. Which data sources do you combine, and which types of graphs are most explanatory? If you could share a quick workflow or template, it would help me improve my analysis process. What do you think is the most effective approach? 🙏

Dude, I also sit down for the match and open an "stats notebook" in Excel where I log player names, shot types, and passing directions cell by cell; when I add radar and heat-map charts, the data suddenly goes "wow" 😅. For now, my most effective method is taking notes like "this guy got the ball but went nowhere" after the match and building a mental ranking list in my head 🤦♂️.
