Do you prefer thin-screened devices or thick-screened ones for normal use?

At home watching movies, outside editing videos. Which type would you prefer? Mini screens fit everywhere, offering smooth visuals with 120Hz response time, but do they drain the battery? Or do classic thick screens stand out in durability? I’d love a single device that combines the best of both. Which type do you find more practical? Or is there a third option?

Man, I'm also torn between the two, honestly. Normally, I prefer thin screens outdoors because of lightness and screen sensitivity—I use an iPad Air, for example, and I really like the 120Hz, especially when editing videos. But when watching movies, I'm stuck because the backlighting isn't strong enough. You mentioned thick screens, and yeah, I can watch a midnight movie without my neck hurting on a full-size laptop screen, like a 15-16 inch panel. When you say a third option, I actually think of Apple. I considered the MacBook Pro—since I'm already obsessed with storage and battery life with Macs. It's great for watching, not heavy on gaming, and the M1's screen brightness and color accuracy are top-notch for editing. We were already impressed by Apple's sleekness, and the build quality is solid too. In short, if you want maximum benefit from a single device, spending a bit more on something like a MacBook Pro makes the most sense. Otherwise, you'll keep going back and forth.
